The centre-piece of the chalet is the living room where a vast fire-place creates a focus point to gather round and enjoy drinks and cakes on comfy sofas; a backdrop to the long dining room table where guests are served meals in the evening under the giant larch timbers and granite stones of the house.
Inter-connected to the main room is the kitchen; bespoke granite worktops, a black Smeg oven and fully-stocked prosecco fridge, with two traditional tables for breakfasts and kid’s meals in the cosy corners. The kitchen looks out over a terrace with the meadows and river beneath.
Spread across four floors, the chalet interconnects and weaves through ancient stone and wood corridoors, offering space and privacy to guests, finishing with the spa and entertainment rooms on the lower ground floor.
